Data Source Review
Census: paste or upload a CSV, preview the parsed result, then activate it — nothing goes live until you do. Rent benchmarks: enter one suburb's current-quarter figures at a time — these go live immediately (re-entering a suburb replaces its previous entry).

HassConsult Hass Rental Index — Rent Benchmarks
No API — read figures off the current quarterly Hass Rental Index PDF (residential ranges are bedsitter/1BR/2BR/3BR; commercial KES/sqft/month is optional, whatever estimate you have on hand). Lat/lon are optional but needed for nearest-suburb matching — use the suburb's approximate centroid. Re-entering an existing suburb name replaces that suburb's entry.

Scoring Calibration
Every threshold below drives the 7-factor scoring engine (tools/scoring/factors.js). Load a reference location, then drag sliders to watch its score move live — before staging or saving anything. When you're happy with a set of values, Preview to see exactly what's different from the currently active profile, then Activate to make it the live baseline for every evaluation from that point on — not recalibrated per run, so scores stay comparable until you deliberately change this again. A locked "Shipped defaults" version is always in the history below to reactivate if you want to fully reset.
